• Make a Pledge: This is the easiest way to make the contribution you’d like to make and pay in installments. You set up the payment plan, and we’ll send the reminder notices.
• Give a Gift of Stock or Insurance: Making the foundation a beneficiary of stock, a life insurance policy or your IRA can be another way to give a gift and receive tax benefits.
• Give a Bequest or Planned Gift: Consider designating The Women’s Foundation as a beneficiary of your estate. A charitable lead or a remainder trust and other forms of planned giving support the foundation’s growth while providing substantial benefits to you. • Honorary Gift: Celebrate a significant occasion—a birth or a birthday, a wedding or a graduation—with a gift to The Women’s Foundation, or honor the life of a special friend or relative. We will send a card acknowledging that you have made a contribution in their name. Remember to ask your employer if you qualify for a matching program to stretch your gift! Gifts can be made via check, credit card or marketable securities.

A Field of Interest Fund is one created by a donor, or a group of donors, to target grant funding to a specific area of concern. Once a fund has been established, donations of any size may be added by anyone interested in that area. Download Field of Interest Funds List.

Kansas City Voices in Philanthropy (V.I.P.s) is a network of philanthropic individuals and companies dedicated to ensuring that The Women’s Foundation of Greater Kansas City continues its life-long mission of raising, investing and granting funds to promote equity and opportunity for women and girls. Donors recognized as Kansas City VIPs contribute financial and strategic resources to support ongoing operations. To become a charter Kansas City VIP, you are asked to make a three–year commitment of giving a minimum of $1,000 annually.
